i have halo 2 for vista and i lost the cd key is there anyway to get it back
without buying it?

You could try doing the obvious, e-mailing or ringing Microsoft. They will, I
would imagine, ask for some sort of proof of purchase, I would!!

That shouldn't be a problem just attempt to register the game using the
Phone method. A Microsoft operator will be there to assist you in activating
the license key via phone
