Hello everybody,
I am hoping there is someone out there who can help me.
When browsing through received Email video and photo attachments I noticed
that there were a lot of them and when a window asking if I wanted to
compress them appeared I clicked "Yes' thinking that this would speed up
response times. However, since that action I can only view video and photo
attachments received subsequently.
These files are JPG files supported by Windows Media Player.
On attempting to open files a window appears as follows: 'Has extension
(.pps) not recognized by WMP but player may be able to run.' Clicking the
'Yes' option produces the following: 'WMP cannot play file. The player
might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.'
As I see it I have two options, namely: Decompress or find the correct
codec. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do either and even wonder if they
are the right options.
Any and all help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Leonard H
