hal.dll with ta.exe

Tried the TA approach and only found a minimal number of components (16).
Used TAP out of WinPE and found 62 devices where Tap out of XP Pro found 102.
I also installed the XPe ethernet drivers for my dual ports. I tried to
synchronize the BIOS with the SLD. I am still getting the hal.dll error.
What am i forgetting? Thanks for the suggestion.

Did you set system drive to active? Did your system driver MBR correct?
