Hacking attempts, is it worth reporting them?

Using Norton Firewall I can trace hacking attempts, below is the most recent
using Hack A trojan. Question is is it worth while reporting it to the
specified spam/abuse address or is it likely to be spoofed anyway?

Try it and see.

Crossposting sucks. I don't like my replies going to groups I don't
subscribe to and it annoys me to have to delete the address.

I haven't tried in years, but it has been my experience that such reports go
into the great black-hole of corporate "couldn't care less" -ness.

Besides, if the address is not spoofed, it could very well be an
unsuspecting, mild-mannered user infected with a virus and being used to
scan for other computers to infect.

You can give it a whirl if you like.
