We are all aware of the abundance of computer viruses around nowadays, and how detrimental they can be to our systems. Hacking, phishing, spamming and spyware are rife, and without any form of protection, your computer is at risk. It now seems that purveyors of such 'nasties' have realised the potential of targeting VoIP (Voice-over Internet Protocol), and although there have been few reports of attacks, those in the know believe attacks will become commonplace within the next 18 months. Many firms have realised the huge cost-saving advantages to be made by switching to VoIP for making calls, yet many fail to realise the risks they are taking in doing so.

For further details on what methods hackers are employing and which particular aspects they are targeting, read the full article here.
