[h] : mm:ss

Dear Experts,
May I ask you what the following function does?
Format cells → Number → Custom → [h] : mm:ss.
Thanks.
 
It allows the cell to show hours in excess of 24hrs. For example formatted as
hh.mm.ss entering 25:30 mins would display 01:30.

Formatted as below would display 25:30
