Please help as this has now got everyone stumped.

I have created a template and have a text form field within a table, I have
set it up to be a number type, maximum length 4 and text format as 0000 as I
require this field to have preceding zeros if someone enters only 1 digit eg
7 would be 0007

It works for on my pc by not when I logon to another and nor any of my
colleagues. We are using Word 2000 on windows2k server

Might be easier to answer if you could actually state the problem. *What*
doesn't work?

When i enter a one digit number and tab away from the field it puts in the
preceding zeros, as i said it works on my pc but now on anyone elses

Using my pc I can enter 0001, 0012 etc and it shows as 0001 or 0012 but when any of my colleagues enter 0001 or 0012 the field reverts to 1 or 1
