gui problems

I have a Win2K server and after the most recent re-boot,
afetr logging in, there is no GUI ineterface. Background
is there, the mouse and keyboard function (or seem to) and
all services are running correctly. Booting into Safe
mode, last know config, VGA mode, etc has resulted in the
same symptoms. Any ideas? Thanks

Task Manager
File
Run...
Explorer.exe

Should load the shell up for you. Or at least produce some sort of
error that may shed some light on things.

What I found was a bogus copy of explorer.exe in

c:\winnt\system32. Got rid of that and all runs
correctly. Thanks
