My guest account cannot go online while all of the other
normal accounts can. It used to be able to connect to the
interned via DSL when I initialy turned it on, but I
turned it off temporarily and now that I have turned it
back on it doesn't go online any more.

A guest account by default has no internet access. Set up a limited User
instead
