Guaranteeing NO Gridlines, possible?

I build resumes using Word Tables. I know how to trun the gridlines off. I
know how to print w/o gridlines. My issue is even when I insure to save the
resume with gridlines OFF, when I send the document via email and it is
opened THE GRID LINES SHOW. How do I insure that when my resume.doc is
opened it looks just like the printed version (no gridlines)?

Thanks,
Jerry

The only way I can think of is to create your resume without a table. I
always have mine turned on so I don't think there's anything you can do to
override my settings.

If you're using a table, the only way to guarantee that gridlines won't show
is to include an AutoOpen macro in your document to automatically turn them
off each time that document is opened. And... experience suggests that if
you send macro-bearing resumes to clients, they're not going to allow your
macro to run.

I can't imagine why you're using tables for your resume, but whatever you're
doing, I'm positive could be done without using tables.

Another alternative would be to use whatever formatting you want, and then
send your resume as a .pdf.
