gt9500 scanner

When i run the test scan on my pc it get black horizontal lines right
across the scanned image. I have installed the twain34 driver.

My system is a windows 2000 pro, 512mb ram, p4, gt9500 scanner scsi
version, with an advansys ultra wide scsi adapter.

If your scanner has a calibration area, have you checked to make sure it is
spotless? Otherwise, you may have dust on a calibration strip inside the
scanner or dust on the optical system. Other than running a few blank scans
with the scanner up on it side in the hopes of dislodging the dust, you
probably will have to open it up to clean it (at the minimum).
