grouping

Hello
I have a report grouped by type of task. Now it shows first all task1 then
task 2 Is it possible to show it by task1 task2, task1 task2 etc.?
example:
task1
date name taskdesc value
task2
date name taskdec value
task1
date name taskdesc value
task2
date name taskdesc value

Now I get
Task1
Task1
etc.
Task2
task2
etc.

Is this possible?

It's only possible if you have a value in the report's recordsource that
allows you to sort this way.

Hello Duane
Thanks for responding but your answer is not clear to me
What value I can take I have many sources to select?

If you want to sort a report in a particular order, you must have some value
in the report's record source that can be used to set this order.

In the example you posted earlier, you have a task one followed by a task
two, followed by another task one and finally another task two. What is it
that determines that the first task two follows the first task one, and not
the second task one? In other words, what is it that makes the first task
two the first task two rather than the second task two? That is the value
you need to sort on first, then sort on the task number second.
