Group Policy Firewall Settings Don't Appear after Snap-In Added

Hank

Hi,

I've followed the steps in the MSFT article to add the snap-in to
manage group policy firewall settings yet the settings do not appear.
I've added them to all 10 or so GPO's and looked under network
connections and no change.

What am I missing here? Thanks in advance for your help.

Keep in mind that Windows Firewall settings are "computer configuration"
which means that the computers that you want it applied to must be within
the scope of management of the Group Policy. If you have configured this at
the domain level then it should apply to all computers in the domain
including domain controllers which may not be a good thing. You can use
rsop.msc on an XP Pro computer to see the Group Policy settings that are
applied to the computer and from which GPO. --- Steve
