We disabled the Group Policy Editor via a group policy on our lab computers.
Is there a way to re-enable the Group Policy Editor?

Manually editing the Registry, assuming you haven't disabled Registry Editing Tools, as well. Exactly what setting did you disable to prevent the use of GPEDIT.MSC?
