Group Policy and Printers

Is it possible on a machine by machine basis to add
network printers with group policy?

Yes, you can use assign a logon script via GPOs. But I would rather put
computers into groups and then use the group as a filter to assign the logon
script, another way is to group the computers in separate OUs. The best way
to do it depends on your AD design.
