I am trying to send e-mails to a group in my contacts list I get an error
message telling I have to many contacts chosen can I reset the number of
contacts to send to anywhere ?
 
The limit on the number of recipients in one email is not set by
Windows Mail. It is set by your mail provider.

You can divide that contacts group into two or more contacts groups,
and send the email separately to each of the new contacts groups.

Your email provider, not Windows Mail, controls how many addresses
you can send to at once, so ask them what that limit is.
