Group Header same width as columns in multi-column report

How do you display detail records in multiple columns while keeping the group
header the full width of the report?

How do you display detail records in multiple columns while keeping
the group header the full width of the report?

Only Report Headers/Footers and Page Headers/Footers can be wider than the
columns in a multi-column report. All other sections will "snake" like the
detail section. To get Page and Report sections to be wider than the
columns you have to go into page setup and turn off the option "same as
detail" in the column width section. Then you can make the report wider
than the columns.

OK, this is what I thought; however, I had seen a post on the subject that
suggested that the group headers could be a different width than the columns,
so I thought I would ask. Guess I'll have to stay with subreports...
