I am unable to send group e-mail mesasages.

I have one group with 73 addresses and one with 35. I cannot send these
group messages even though my normal e-mail, incoming and outgoing messages
work nicely. With outlook express, I have been sending these same group
messages for years. I have not been able to send them with Vista

The error message statges "The message could not be sent. The
authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail (SMTP)
server." I have been in touch with my IP and they assure my outgoing
settings are correct.

If you are putting these addresses on the Bcc: line, you may also need to
put an address on the To: line. Putting your own address there will not
give the recipients any information they don't already get.

Unfortunately you failed to include the most important part of the
error message. It will look something like this:

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'Your PC',
Account: 'pop.aol.com', Server: 'SMTP.aol.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server
Response: '556 CLIENT AUTHENTICATION REQUIRED', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 556, Error Number: 0x800CCC78
