group distribution lists

I set up a group distribution list with 16 names in it. I sent it out and
only 6 of the emails went through. The rest of the emails came back sto me
aying that I had reached the maximum number of contacts I could have in a
group distribution list. What I have done since then is set up 4 group lists
and I have to send out the same message to each one seperately.
HELP!

With this little amount of details about your configuration my guess is that
your ISP has set a maximum to the amount of recipients of a single message.
