Group dates by Month

Hello,
I have report that shows sales order for the dates in the month, but I would
like to group the dates into a month. How do I create a group that will
group the dates together for a given month. Here is an example of what my
data looks like:

salesOrder InstallComplete Revenue
640000002 05/10/08 200.00
640000003 05/11/08 350.00
640000004 05/13/08 15.00
640000005 05/14/08 150.00
640000007 06/10/08 500.00
640000008 06/29/09 1000.00

This is an option under the Sorting and Grouping dialog. You can choose an
interval.
