Gridlines disappear when I use color fill

When I color fill a cell, the gridlines disappear. I realize that I can use
borders, but they are much bolder than the gridlines, and somewhat
distracting. Is there any way to get the gridlines to show through the color
fill. Thanks for your help.

You can format the color and line thickness of the borders. Format >

Nope, just change the border color, to Grey 25% for instance.

Thanks for your help! I don't remember this happening in older versions - is
this a new feature in 2003?

Lynn,

As others have pointed out, it's not a new feature -- it's an old feature. Also, if you
change the fill color to white (as opposed to no fill), it still paints over the gridlines,
white in this case. That really makes people crazy.

Note: Some folks prefer bottom-posting.
But if you bottom-post to a reply that's
already top-posted, the thread gets messy.
