Grid Lines in outlook signature table

In advance edit for Outlook signature I remove table borders & grid lines and
it appears correct until I open up an e-mail and then the grid lines are
visable. How can I get rid of these. Thanks In advance for your help.

Any configuration details? How can we know your version of Outlook or what
application you used as the advanced editor?

I'm using Outlook 2003 and word as the advanced editor. Sorry I forgot to
include this.
