grid lines do not print (box is checked)

I have the grid box checked in print set up
print preview and printing will not include color or gridlines???

GORD, what if my draft quality box is unclicked and my grid lines box IS
checked..and it wont print...in fact it prints some and not others...i
recently converted from an older excel version to 2007 and all my documents
seem to be screwed up...wont print gridlines..after i had to made column
adjustments...but even when i tried to recreate a new one..it still wont
print the grid lines..help!

I do have 2007 version installed so can't speak to that.

The printing was fine in the older version, right?

Did you change any other software/hardware when you upgraded?

Usually the type of problem you describe is print driver based.

Maybe one of the other regulars using 2007 has a fix.

Not really a solution to your problem but to avoid this I always format
the cells with a border. They always print.

YES, Gord the printing was fine with the older version...and yes my i have a
new hard drive w/an updated Windows and Excel...

i have just recently discovered i can go to a different computer thats
networked and pull the file and print to the same printer and is fine (with
the gridlines)...

any advice?

The default printer in your computer and in Excel is the same as the networked
printer?

The file printing OK on another computer is the key.

Something in your setup, either Excel or your printer settings, would seem to be
not right but I have no advice past this conjecture.
