greyed out standby button

My standby button is greyed out, when I first went into power options I had a
list of different power schemes, one was hibernate. I choose that option and
I thought I'd fixed the problem but after resuming from that first standby,
it was greyed out again. Now when I go to check power schemes I only have one
option (Home/Office Desk) where did the rest of my list go, somebody help me,
I'm getting so frustrated.

Have a read of this and see if it helps, you must have some of your settings
wrong.
