Grey out new record

Hello,

I know there's probably a simple way to do this, but I
need some help. On a subform, even when I filter out
just the records pertaining to the main form, I still get
an add record asterisk at the bottom of the subform. How
do I get rid of this extra new blank record, as this form
will not be used to add records from.

I tried to say No to add records on the subform, but it
doesn't work.

Setting the subform's Allow Additions property to No works for me.
