hello all,

when you say 32Bit-Windows vs. 64Bit-Windows, does that encompass hardware
and software differences? What does this mean?

thanks,
ari

Ari,
32-bit vs 64-bit windows involves changes to the hardware & OS, along with
changes to the .NET runtime. Primarily 64-bit Windows allows 16 terabyte
addressing, while 32bit Windows only allow 4G addressing.

However my understanding is that your .NET application, should continue to
run "as is".

Hope this helps
Jay

Ari,

The same as MS-Dos wich is 16bits and Windows 98/Me and Windows NT which are
32bits

Windows 95 was a kind of hybrid.

Vendors tell forever in that kind of cases that there will be no problems
running programs on the newer versions.
