Green Hyperlinks?

Hi
Having gone out on saturday night i made the mistake of leaving my flatmate
in my room letting him use the internet, he then downloaded a pile of stuff
including Limewire, and since then, when i've gone to websites certain words
have turned green and are hyperlinks, for example the word 'Meet', when i
roll the pointer over it the small yellow box says 'Best Meet' and at the
bottom of the window it says 'Sponsored link'. This happens about 10 times on
every webpage, and also sometimes popups appear despite the fact I have them
blocked. Limewire has been uninstaled but maybe some settings were changed
that need to be changed back? I had never seen this before until now. If
anyone can help that would be great
THanks

One possibility is to use System Restore (in Start | All Programs |
Accessories | System Tools) to restore the computer to the way it was
before Saturday night.
