you can download it here ...

LingoDict contains a German ↔ English and a German ↔ Spanish dictionary;

other dictionaries
(German / Japanese, Chinese, Turkish, Norwegian) can be downloaded as well.

You can also import your own wordlists and use them parallel to the
existing dictionaries.
For each dictionary, a user dictionary can be defined to include additional
wordlists.

Gave this dictionary a shot. I like, I like. While I don't speak a word
of German, I converted a dictionary Eng/Spa and Eng/Fre using the
import tool within the program. I was using SDA before
(http://www.dicts.info/offline2.php) Converted the tab delimited file
and constructed my own bilingual dictionaries. I like the layout. The
only thing I dislike is the fact that the English flag that it displays
is of the U.K. and not of the U.S.A. But I can live with that.

Why should the British flag bother you? Isn't the UK the home of the
English language? And from my point of view they still have a better
command of it than Americans ever will.

I did not mean to offend our UK friends. I guess since it is a language
translation software is only logical to have the UK flag to denote the
language selected and not the country. I take the previous comment
back.

Cheers :)

Does the UK flag indicate that it uses British spelling (analyse, colour,
programme). If so I might try it, as I have several dictionaries which are
fine, except that they use US spelling, which I do not want?
