Why is it that when I protect a worksheet the Auto-Sum is greyed out, even on cells that I should be able to edit?
P Peo Sjoblom Oct 15, 2008 #2 Edit is not the same as using =SUM(A1:A10) Besides where does it say you can edit the cells, in my 2003 it says edit objects and the default is that you can select unlocked cells. Anyway if that is what you meant that you have certain cells unlocked and the sheet protected If you use the keyboard shortcut it works if you have unlocked cells (Alt and =) -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom
