Since you forgot to tell us how you connect to the Internet, I'm going to
guess that you have dialup. With most dialup services, there is something
called a "web accelerator" or similar language. This item gives you the
illusion that your web surfing is faster because it compresses images. You
aren't getting more bandwidth; you're downloading less data. The resulting
images are of course blurry or pixelated because a lot of the data is
missing.

If this fits your situation, then you've enabled whatever "web acceleration"
feature your ISP provides.

Thanks Malke,

I guess it explains a lot. I'm using a 3.5G mobile broadband modem, which
is considered dial-up.

er.. pardon me, but what do I do next? call up my ISP? How do i disable the
web accelerator.

Strange though, my home computer still have great graphics with the same
modem.

You have to look at the options in whatever program you run (if you run one)
to connect to the Internet. Or failing that, yes - call your ISP's tech
support. If you use some sort of connection software it isn't strange that
the computer at home doesn't experience this problem; you've obviously not
got the "acceleration" feature running there.
