Graphics in Outlook 2002

I have created my own stationary and have added graphics. The file has been
saved in the Stationary folder. I sent myself a test email with the new
stationary, and the graphics don't appear. Just get the X. I have tried a
few things like changing my security settings, graphics still don't appear.

Any suggestions welcome

I continue to have this problem myself Connie, and I'm in 2003. I ended up
just appending the graphics to the background image and saving it as one flat
image, then used that image as the background. Accomplished the matter at
hand, just not how I would expect. Now if I could get an image inserted in
my signature to work.

You said you checked all the settings, did it include the "internet" zone
setting? I read that here in the forum some place, but it didn't help me out
either. :c( Will be watching for any additional replies you get. Hopefully
we will both get resolution soon!!

To add to this query, this process has been done on other computers that use
Outlook 2002 and it works no problem. Also, they have so many more options,
such as when composing an email, dropdown "Tools", and there are twice as
many options as on my computer. Why is this?

Hi Angela...I think I have resoved it! In Outlook, go to Tools, Options,
Mail Format, and make sure that "Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages"
is selected. That resolve both issues.

Angela, won't be responding right away as I out of office now. Will check
later this evening. Let me know if the word editor works for you.

No. The Word editor option doesn't seem to assist me much. Though I enjoy
using the editor to create signatures etc., the graphics just don't want to
be there for me. Hmpfh.......
I did receive a note from a gentlemen here though, who informed me that the
graphics would only display if in Rich Text Format. So, I'll confirm that
information; but still isn't a great answer for me, as it makes it hard to
create something "professional" and nice and then be dependent upon how the
receiver has their program viewing options set etc.
Oh welll.....

Hope this finds you having had a great holiday!!

Thanks for your help. :c)
