Graphics do not display when sharing application

The remote assistance and application sharing function of Windows Messenger
is great. However, I'm looking for help on 2 main issues I am having:

1. When sharing PTC Pro/ENGINEER (it's 3-D CAD program that is graphically
intense), it will not display the image thru the shared desktop or
application. Oddly enough, if you use Remote Desktop Connection you will see
the graphics, however the local user will not be able to watch what you are
doing.

2. Local user's mouse does not appear on the remote user's screen, but the
local user can see the remote user moving their mouse.

Alternatives to this would be TightVNC/RealVNC or a commerical product like
Timbuktu, but I would prefer to stay with an integrated solution.

Greetings Willy,

Application Sharing is actually a throwback feature from the original Netmeeting and as such,
does not support DirectX acceleration or similar which is probably why you won't see the CAD
application.

Remote Desktop/Remote Assistance does something completely different which does allow such
things to be shown, which is the reason you're seeing the difference.

The mouse thing is normal, even on Remote Assistance.
