graphics card for pentium3

I've got a Pentium 3 800Mhz, 30GB, 512MB RAM. VGA is on-board intel's
motherboard (4mb) I was thinking of installing a graphics card in the AGP, I
liked an nvidia geforce series, 128mb ram, 57US$ Will it make a lot of
difference to my system, or will my processor speed prvent me from playing
new games properly?
Also, what should I look for in buying a graphics card?

Thanks

The overall performance will be noticed greatly as even windows
desktop would like 32bit and 16megs vidram. I have PIII 850 - 512-
sdram that's does nicely with the newer games COD- UT and such. I
have a ATI 7500 Radeon 64m-ram in it. Just about anything you put in
it will MUCH improve the system over a 4meg card. Watch the voltage
for the AGP. Some older mainboards had 3.3v and 1.5v and sometimes
jumpered for either, also agp2x 4x pro and now 8x. Stay within a
decent budget as your adding to an older system, and if it goes or you
upgrade, you can take the new card and transplant it.
