Graphic Change in Start Menu

The other day my Start Menu changed with fewer buttons and an inverted,
narrow bar reading from bottom to top "Windows Media Center XP"

Has anyone else had a similar change?
 
Do you have Media Center Edition installed on your PC? Right click My
Computer, properties, general tab. If you have MCE, its possible you
switched from the XP menu to the classic menu (right click the taskbar,
properties, start menu tab
