Graphic Card Prophet 4500 Installation fails on XP Pro

XP boots in a 4-bit color mode after installation. Then I installed the
motherboard drivers (ASUS A7N8X-X) and the graphic card driver which only
said that it can't be installed successfully.

Then I found that the device "AGP Host to PCI Bridge" is not working (not
enough resource). So, I tried to deactivate other device. When I
deactivate COM2 or Parallel Port, AGP Host got activated. But after
refresh it's showing the same problem and the installation of graphic
driver still failed.

As soon as I deactivate "PCI Standard PCI-to-PCI Bridge" XP found the VGA
graphic adapter and request a driver. This time the stallation of the
graphic driver went bit further. But then it crashed with a black screen.
Then XP boots up in 32-bit color mode. Display is very slow (without the
manufacturer driver).

I think I shouldn't disable "PCI-to-PCI Bridge". But what should I do so
that XP can find my graphic adapter (AGP Host installed properly)?

thanks

I think you have to update the PCI Standard PCI-to-PCI Bridge driver so that it says AGP-to-PCI Bridg

Best bet is to contact the mainboard manufacturer
