Gradient color

Hi,
I want to create Gradient color in my header (just like in microsoft
site) but we don;t want use the image for that and also it should work
in all browsers (If i use
filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Gradient, it works only in
IE). Please help me to solve this isse.

Look at how MS does if for different browsers (IE, FF, NS, Opera) by viewing Microsoft.com in those
different browsers and then clicking view source.

I did that already in other browser, the source is the same and no
difference!!! :-(

I don't get this, it's just an image - go there in FF and click View- Image
or in IE Save Picture As. Unless I'm missing something why would they need
different source in IE, FF, NS, Opera etc?

In the past Microsoft has used browser detection to determine how to display the Microsoft.com site
for users, I did not check the MS site before replying.
