Gpresult error

Darren Jones

I get the following error when running gpresult on an XP
machine:

"INFO: The policy object does not exist."

Also, the machine (and others) no longer download GPO
changes.

If the policies are not applying to the computers check in the Application
Event log for any events related to this. You will receive a 1704 event if
the policy applies successfully. It would be helpful if you pasted the
gpresults here as well.

Also, Darren, you can try running rsop.msc. That might give some further
info.
