Is it possible to create a Group Policy that determines
what printer a user gets and to also automatically create
the users Outlook profile. If a user goes down the hall
and logs in....he clicks on Outlook and WHAM.....its
up...no configuration needed. Is there any way?

Thanks.

OL can be configured automatically, nothing to do with GPO.

Look into Outlook Profile Generator; what version are you using?

Howdy,

Just wanted to jump into this for a quick second and throw
in my $0.02...

Keith, as well as what Brendon suggested, you could also
install Office 2000 or Office XP via GPO. Make use of the
Office Resource Kit's ( aka orktools.exe ) 'Custom
Installation Wizzard' and then create an .mst file ( aka
TRANSFORMS file ). One of the 17 steps is to configure
Outlook. You can configure it to go to 'Workgroup or
Corporate Mode', to install the Microsoft Exchange Service
and Outlook Address Book and to specify the Exchange
Server....

HTH,

Cary
