I was wondering where in the ACtive Directory Group Policy
I can hide all the programs in the start menu that i
disabled through the GPO. The domain users cannot acces
these apps but they can still see them in the start menu.
I need to learn how i can hide the disabled programs so
that the domain users can only see the ones they are
allowed to use.

Thank you .

gK.

There is no trivial way to do this if they are installed.

Did you use "software restriction policies" to disable the programs
or some other method?

The only idea that seems workable (perhaps someone else has another)
is to write a "logon" script that removes the short cuts.....if you know the
names and such....from the users' profiles.
