GPO stop responding in all the Domain - HELP

Hi,

Today we are having a big problem. We have several group policies aplied
into differents OUs.

This morning all the GPOs stop working and we don't know why

The only strange thing we made is that yesterday I remove one of the DCs
in one of our remote branchs using DCPROMO. (Because the last week we added
other one) (this is not the first time that I replace a DC with another and
then remove the first with DCPROMO)

Until today all was working ok, but now no GPO work.

The event log does not give me any strange error

What can I do ?

How can I try to "reconnect" or fix the GPO

Did that DC have any of the Master Operator Roles ?

Or was it a GC?

If the remote branch was a separate Site, dcpromo may not have completely
removed the object and this may be causing replication failure. Check AD
Sites and Services. Also, use ntdsutil and ADSIedit to confirm removal -

Hi Javier. When you say that the GPOs stopped working, what are the exact
symptoms you are seeing? Do you see any errors or warning in the
Application log in Event Viewer with a source of USERENV or SCECLI? Also,
you might want to download gpresult.exe from
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/tools/existing/gpresult-o.asp
and run it on the client machines to see what policies are being applied.
