GPO not working

P

Pat DiPersia

I've got two servers, we'll call them MAIN and TERMSERV.

I placed our TERMSERV server in it's own OU, titled TERMSERV. Then I went
into the GPManagement and created and linked a new GP to the TERMSERV OU for
all authenticated users.

However, it seems that the user config of the GP is not taking effect.

When I run the GP Results in the Management console, it lists the TERMSERV
policy under the applied GPOs for Computer Config, but it does not list the
TERMSERV policy under the applied GPOs for the User Config. Why is this? I
did a GPUPDATE, but that didn't work either.

Hi Pat,
Make a Termal Server Users Group and add the members you want to that group.
Place the group in the OU.
You may want to consider the loopback policy if the same users logon to the
domain.

Take a look at the following article. It will describe how to do what you
are trying to do.
