GPO not getting applied

Hi Guys,

I have a DC running windows 2000 server and clients are
W2k professional and w2k XP.My GPO was working fine but
suddenly i found that when i added new machines to the
network none of the GPO was getting applied.On the
machines added earlier where GPO was working fine some of
the GPO is getting applied.I saw the event viewer on the
server and i got event id 4001 in the application log with
DNS cannot load the zone XXX.local.check if your AD is
working correctly and reload the DNS.On the client side
i'm getting event id as 1000 it says that the requested
computer name could not be found on the network.return
value (59).

Please help!!!!!

Ensure that you have DNS setup correctly and it is functioning on the Domain
Controller. You can try deleting the DNS forward lookup zone and recreating
it. You will either need to reboot the DC or stop/start the Netlogon
service to reregister the DNS records. Make sure the clients are pointing
to a valid location to resolve the DC's DNS records.
