I installed Vista SP1 and the group policy management now will not load.

I get "MMC could not create the snap-in".

Any clue on how to fix it?

It's expected behavior for that to happen. Use GPEdit.msc for that.

Notable Changes in Windows Vista Service Pack 1:

• GPMC (Group Policy Management Console) will be uninstalled with Service
Pack 1 and GPEdit will default to Local Group Policy editing. Following
these changes, SP1 users can download an updated version of GPMC which will
include new Group Policy capabilities including adding comments to GPOs or
individual settings and searching for specific Group Policy settings.

Okay, do we know where to get the new and improved version? I see linkls in
the group but those are the XP SP1 version form 2004.

Thanks!
