GoToMyPC replacement

Hello...

I need to find a replacement for GoToMyPC. I need to remote a
computer behind a NAT firewall without using a VPN, and am not
permitted by the company to have a subscription service.

So, I'm looking to purchase a browser based remote access
program similar to GoToMyPC. I have a webserver that could
maintain the remote sessions.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
D.

Yes, but as I mentioned, the remote computer is behind a NAT
firewall and I have no vpn. Thus the need for a browser based
solution.

Any other suggestions?

Thx,
D.

There are browser based VNC clients....
This is a free solution so perhaps you may need to check it out
www.realvnc.com is the site for one of the vnc clients and servers. But
there are all tupes of clients for any typo of computer imaginable, and
browsers too.
Take a look at my site too www.computerboom.net I have a software there
called winconnect server xp.

Oh let me tell you that there IS a browser based Remote Desktop software,
but you need to have XP pro to run it since it needs the IIS web server
installed.

Hope some of this helps.... take a look at the
MICROSOFT.PUBLIC.WINDOWSXP.WORK_REMOTLY newsgroup, if you cant find a
solution here.
