Last night, for the first time, GoToMyPc was detected by MSAS as a low risk
item. I've run GoToMyPc for over a year with no issues. Does anyone know
why the application is now being classified as a risk?

I don't believe that this detection indicates that this standard commercial
software is any less reputable than you had previously believed.

I'm not sure why the detection has been added. If this software can be
active without any clear notice and consent to the current desktop user of
the PC, then I would expect it to be detected with a similar default--what
does Microsoft Antispyware have to say about the detection?

Remote control or access apps that could be present and active without the
knowledge and consent of the current console user are detected, as a
possible privacy issue.

Paul - My current understanding is that this was a false positive, which
will be resolved by the next definition set, due out tonight sometime.
