I have about 30 VB.NET and .NET books, it is in the top few. They ALL
suffer from chapter after chapter telling you how great .NET is and
speaking as if you were a VB6 developer. It gets frustrating if you are
coming into VB.NET straight away.
You'll go through several books and quite a few hours of tutorials
before you wrap your head around everything...
Only now I saw your replies , I've already ordered "Teach Yourself Microsoft
Visual Basic .NET 2003 in 21 days" by SAMS . Hope it's good . (I know
programming and have prior experience in VB6) .
Programming Microsoft Visual Basic .NET
by Francesco Balena
This is really the best book i ever bought ( officicial MS press Core
reference ) it covers almost everything and is really well written (
good to understand , with real world examples )
