The good news is now, after installing the update that fixes USB 1.0 & 2.0, suspend and hibernate finally work as they should.

The bad news is now Microsoft Messenger won't run. The hour glass turns like it should after clicking on the Icon, but the program never runs.

It is no big deal, but I wonder if, 1) anyone else is experiencing this, and 2) is there a fix?

Depending on which version you run, it would probably come right if you
get the appropriate new version:

If you run 'MSN Messenger', from messenger.msn.com

If you run the Windows Messenger that came with the system, download ver
5 of that from
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/messenger/default.asp
