hello,

i have intel p-4 2.4 on ausu p4vp-mx motherboard with 256 mb ram, it
uses onboard VIA ProSavage8 Graphics. i'm considering to purchase new
agp card of 64 mb for good gaming performance.. existing on board is
32 mb & not working with some games.

i want to know whether i need new card of 64 mb or else, is there any
way that works like 32 mb of onboard graphics + 32 mb of new card if i
purchase card of 32 mb...

advice me ... thanks

You need a new graphics card, 64 MB is not very much though; I wouldn't
spend money on less that 128.

There is no card that can use your onboard graphics and it's own power,
only the X200 chipset from ati can do that if you would have a Crossfire
card (not sure, read that long ago).

No; there are NO videocard setups where an add-on card's memory is additive
to the onboard video memory. You HAVE to shut off the onboard video in
order to use an add-on video card.

You already heard the answer, I'll answer something else as well

The sweet spot today is the BFG Nvidia 6600 GT OC. The OC stands fo
Overclock from the Factory. This card uses DDR3 RAM and has an al
copper cooler that also cools the memory chips. In many cases, thi
card will run right along with a 6800. Lifetime warranty

It's pricier then a stock 6600, but much cheaper then a 6800

Anything you buy MUST be Direct X 9 compatable. That leaves out a lo
of cards you might be familiar with

Best to y
