I have windows xp home and what I want to do is this. When I type a www into
my browser I don't want to see all of the other sights I have ever visited.
I have forgotton where I have to go to get rid of that. Could anyone help me
please?
 
Right-click on your Taskbar and select:
Properties > Start Menu > Customize > Clear

Disable AutoComplete.
Go to START, CONTROL PANEL, INTERNET OPTIONS. Then click
on the CONTENT tab, then AUTOCOMPLETE. Good luck.
 
If you don't want them to show, you need to go to Internet Options in the Control Panel, then click on the Content tab/ AutoComplete button/uncheck Web Addresses, and this will prevent them from showing. Keep in mind, that you won't be able to auto complete web addresses that you type in the address via the "ctrl+enter" selection (as one example).
