Nvidia just plain lost me. Was a supporter since the tnt2 days bought a
radeon 7000 after my mx400 went back to the 4200 series (sucked for me) went
to 5200-fx5600ultra - 5700 ultra my bro had an aiw ve that outperformed my
4200 and 5200 not overclocked... no more wasted cash i want pure
performance.. Looking at the 9800 pro series which manufacturer has the best
rep./performance on the ati line? Benches view to be almost the same just
which company has better customer service?

From what I read here, customer service from any supplier can be
fraught. If you ever need advice, I've found that this group is light
years ahead of any customer service team. If it's a hardware fault
then you are going back to the dealer not the manufacturer.

Sapphire is very good, of what I heard. Hercules seems nice to... I
self have a hercules and though not superior overclockers they are
pretty good cards.

And every branch has a few cards that are bad and end up with a
costumor. But they can replaced.

Steer clear of PNY though... lets put it this way if you value
garantuees, steer away from them! Powercolor to... the fall out
is..very high! Low Quality materials they use there....

BBA is the best.. Built By Ati, and sapphire is BBA!

called and was given this number 905-882-2600 ext. 8202, talk to
Miguel ...oh yeah there will be a long distance charge for this.

I've never dealt with a company that didn't suck when it comes to rebates.
It's just one of the bizarre facts of life when it comes to retail.

I just bought a Sapphire from newegg.com. I think they're down to $223
including shipping now. There are no Sapphire markings on the card, all it
says is Built by ATI. The memory chips are Hynix 2.8ns. If you plan to OC
it, ramsinks are necessary and an Arctic-Cooler VGA Silencer is a good idea.
It's whisper quiet even with the fan on high, and you can really feel it
blow out the heat.
It's a nice card and hard to beat the price. Comes with all cables, driver
disk and Power DVD as well.

Customers are never happy, they are disgruntled because they have to
pay the postal costs ( hello who again is sending the package for who?
) and they also have problems with that the postal services might be
slow... gosh...

Look, ati can only do..what they can do... they don't controll the
postal services... nor their rates! That is why directly dealing with
a local shop is in some cases cheaper as then throug online shops.

Yes you generally pay a little bit more... but ... if something goes
wrong, you can go to the shop. And .. they probably have a card lying
the back to replace it.
